I have left ONEVC to start a new professional chapter, which I’ll share more soon.
First and foremost, thank you to all of the limited partners and founders for their trust in the quality of my work and the person I am. The unconditional support I have received in the past few months since departing ONEVC has been incredible. I appreciate your pro-active phone calls and the curiosity about the next chapter.
If you have ever been in a call with me, you know that I often quote “funeral alignment” as the way I see the relationship between investors and founders during a partnership.
As investors, we exist to propel the inevitability of the human spirit, from idea to heritage. This ethos is a regular part of my day-to-day thinking.
I would also like to thank my former business partners for all the valuable lessons you have provided me in life and business.
I cherish the good moments we had together, and I look forward to seeing you continue to grow ONEVC to great new heights.
The ONEVC dream lives on, and I will continue to support all portfolio companies that worked with me during this journey.
Onward.
I recently read The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz. I highly recommend you take a look and spend time reflecting on how you can be better at some of them.
If immigrant-founders knew the difference it makes to speak excellent English, they would be working harder at it. You must be fluent if you want to succeed.
In this episode, I had the honor of talking to Alexandre Liuzzi, Founder of Remessa Online. You can listen to it on YouTube, Spotify, and other podcast apps.
