Like many, I am a fan of Paulo Guedes Brazil's Minister of the Economy. I appreciate the Chicago-boys when it comes to economical thinking. I do think that the predictions and expectations are correct. We will likely see a rate increase in interest in Brazil in 2021.
I do not believe it will decrease the inflows of capital in alternative assets or stocks. Fortunately, institutional investors in Brazil now understand that they must have a better, diversified portfolio across all asset classes.
