Zero to One: Notes on Startups, or How to Build the Future

Many books on creating a startup are theoretical and unhelpful. Zero to One, on the other hand, gives us some unique, specific, and timeless framework that Peter Thiel himself developed while running multiple companies.

Review

Buy this book now. Seriously. I don't read fiction at all and most times I find it really hard to read something refreshing on business-related books. Peter Thiel is brilliantly perfect in this book.

“Zero to one every moment in business happens only once. The next Bill Gates will not build an operating system. The next Larry Page or Sergey Brin won’t make a search engine. And the next Mark Zuckerberg won’t create a social network. If you are copying these guys, you aren’t learning from them.”
“The best entrepreneurs know this: every great business is built around a secret that’s hidden from the outside. A great company is a conspiracy to change the world; when you share your secret, the recipient becomes a fellow conspirator.”
“What important truth do very few people agree with you on?”
